Crown Grill Steak In Main Dining Room

Does Princess still offer passengers in the main dining room the opportunity to order a steak from the Crown Grill at an additional charge?  If so, what is the current price to do so?  Thanks!

I'm not sure about the price but they still offer the upgraded menu.

They did on the Star in Feb. but nicer to eat in Crown Grill.

I had it in CC dining in July. I didn't fancy anything off the main menu and remembered this was offered and I asked for it.

 

It was duly served up, and I was not charged for it. Whether this was a mistake, a kind gesture or perhaps to elicit a gratuity I do not know, but it was very welcome on that particular night.

I ordered a Filet on our Nov cruise and I thought it was good value for $19.  I had potato and asparagus with it and also asked for Applewood Smoked Salt.  Didn't mind not having app and dessert.

We've ordered off the Crown Grill selects menu a number of times and have never been disappointed.  Most typically the Filet but at least once the Lobster tail.

 

We've been told that inventory available on a given evening is limited - but have never run into a situation where a request couldn't be met.
