Why are cruise ships considered to be more of a risk than theme Parks?

Disney World has now been reported to be closing!

We normally drive to WDW, spend a week, and drive home; never gotten sick on that vacation; been doing this once or twice a year for decades.  One year we flew round trip as we got a really good deal for the family - two of the four of us got sick before returning home.  But that has not stopped our traveling to WDW or flying when desired.  Our longest flight was almost 18 hours - non-stop to Sydney, Australia, without a problem.

Same with cruising: we have cancelled 2 cruises through July and are holding onto a late September cruise this year.

Why, because their management and brand value drives a different decision then other companies and organizations!

Look how long it took the various sports organization, look at Japan and the Olympics, says a lot about the leadership, culture and motivations driving each organization
