I'm superstitious about very few things

but have always had 'second thoughts' about Friday The 13th.

I've had a few messed-up things happen on various Friday, 13ths!

Today will go down in Cruise History

as THE DAY that most if not all? cruise lines bowed in deference to a virus

and cancelled operations for a month or three.

Friday 13th. of March 2020 - sounds like The Ides of March!

Verily I say unto thee....

From my study of Latin, I learned about the Ides of March.  Unfortunately, Julius Caesar failed to heed the Oracle's warning to him.

Am I superstitious about this date?  No.  But, I am cognizant of the historical relevance of the date.

This "If March comes in like a lamb it goes out like a lion" thing is going a bit too far this year, don't you think?

It's the middle of the month of March that we are going to need to come out with some type of "catchy" phrase.  Restaurants and bars in Ohio are closing as of 9:00 P. M. Sunday (carry-out and delivery still available).  Noticing that the poster is from NYC, your Mayor has now closed your schools which he previously said he would not do.
