Where was I?

This particular headstone marks the place of a friend of my Dad. The three flags are Our current flag, the red ensign was our national Flag at the time of the raid and the Green and yellow flag is the province of Saskatchewan. That patch of black soil is from the family farm in Saskatchewan, we brought that with us.

Hint, the date on the headstone is relevant to where I was.

Well done Lyle.

Dieppe Canadian War Cemetery. Harvey died on D day attack of Dieppe.

Not D-Day, Operation Jubilee was in 1942 and was a total disaster. Everything that could go wrong did. Many lessons learned that day, many lives lost, mostly Canadians.

Do we have a picture in play? I gave the answer when I went to bed with the picture of the Cemetery wall.

Waiting for one from anyone. I'm having a problem with my computer picture files. It is only showing icons when I open a folder. Changing "View" has no effect.
