Where was I?

It is my back yard Julie, about 20 feet from the end of the porch.

Your turn.

Almost as good as my backyard 😉

We get kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets, tawny frogmouths (which look like owls but aren't) and various other more ordinary birds. The kookaburras often perch on our balcony railing.

Now I'll go look for a new "where was I" photo.

Those Christmas lights wouldn't last long if you had cockys there.

They last about two years despite the cockys. I just leave them on the balcony all year round until they stop working then put a new set on.

Hint: the cafe there used to be very laid back but now bears have taken over it's become a trendy hangout, much to the annoyance of the original regulars. I don't want the name of the cafe though, I want the name of the building.

Well done! That was NYE 2018. The best, and cheapest, NYE night out we've ever had despite the rain and the leaky roof (which may be why they leased the cafe out to the bears). RANSA guests only, $5 entry fee, BYO food, cheap drinks. One of our friends is a member there and invited us along that night.

Your turn!
