Lake Louise Station Restaurant

You are correct, I suspect Mic knew the answer but was playing along.

Sorry for the tardy reply, I just got home, Made supper (wild sockeye salmon wrapped in filo with shrimp and imitation crab). Now relaxing in the lounge with a cuppa.

I am going to make a wild guess. You are at one of the lookouts on the Skyrail (Cairns -Kuranda) looking across the Baron River at the Kuranda scenic rail

Well done, that's exactly where we were, with perfect timing to see the train go by.

Your turn.

Yep, thought so , just never heard it called that before, crab sticks are crab sticks 😂

There is also a shredded style. it is often used in sushi and the salmon in filo. In Canada we wouldn't be allowed to call the product a "crab stick" it would imply that it is crab.

Thats why we call politicians here , politicians and not public servants . 😁

They sell it here in chunks and I think they call it seafood extender. what they call crab sticks are often  cooked in batter and sold in take away food outlets and called seafood sticks or crab sticks
