I just got a big problem fixed yesterday thanks to new CVP.  (My other one went mia, gone)

anyway...... called the main cvp # to talk with another one and think I found a good one.

I had a similar issue, old cvp booked my cbs offer from the ship.... all the PPerks were

showing on the Service Summary print out, but my 1,000 Freeplay was never added.

I seriously got the runaround (and called the dreaded call center, that promised

it would be fixed in a couple days, but of course it never was.)

New cvp got it fixed!

I just printed it out (always keep paper trail proof or at least photos on your phone)

All looks correct, and its a big sigh of relief!

We should Not have to jump thru hoops like this for simple bookings.

I ONLY plan to work with cvp from now on.

Casino Dept is GONE, and dealing with the Call center is a deal breaker!

I say get cvp, asap

And if yours cvp goes mia like mine did?

Call and get another!

1-800-901-1172  to get Princess CVP

Thank you for that heads up.  I did finally get it nailed down from the call center today.  They kept trying to say my offer didn't have the Princess Plus, even though the offer clearly stated it.  So now I'm set and booking summary is correct.  But it shouldn't be this hard to get mistakes fixed.  And the outsourcing of the call center out of the country is a disaster.  With no way to contact them by email it forces everyone to call, and that is NOT convenient at all.  So I shall look into a Princess CVP moving forward.

Totally agree my CVP has had to fix more than one issue caused by the casino call center

Somebody posted on the FB group that they just got off the Regal yesterday with 12,000 points and received a CB offer for free balcony and 600 FP.   It's so frustrating that there is no uniformity or transparency with the casino.

Totally agree with your last sentence.  I've heard offers come from Corporate

as to what you receive for your CBS. (voucher you get when getting off the ship)

Thats what I was told earlier this year from ship casino host, but I don't know if their info is correct?

I think I got robbed, and should have gotten a much better cbs for 22,000 points!

(it was 22 not 21, not that it mattered to them)

WHO to "complain" to?  We used to be able to call casino dept, til they disbanded it.

Now you get the casino Navigators🙄(call center) who don't know much, and have to ask....

I'm going to email new cvp and see if they can get thru to higher casino dept and get an answer.

That is true.  Casino hosts have no authority to comp.  They get a list from corporate the day before the last day of the cruise.  So if you play on the last day the points do not count.

Several people are now stating that they are only getting free play and no comped cabins. I hope this isn't going to be a trend.

I hope you are able to get some answers.  However, you got that Prestige offer so I think that more nice offers are coming your way.   I'll keep my fingers crossed for a mini suite, PP and 1500 FP.

The offers after the cruise tend to be better than what you get on board.  I am pleasantly surprised that I got the Ultimate Hearts offer.   I'm a minnow and only have gotten offers for inside rooms with 250 FP.   I reached 6000 points last cruise and was disappointed that I did not get a balcony.  A year ago it would have happened.

Heck we both had over 10,000 points and no bounce back. Best we can do now is free inside and $250-$400 fp

So sorry.  I hope you both get balcony cabins and more free play from your post cruise offers.

This trend leaves me with a dilemma.  Should I book all my offers now while I still can for inside and no to very little FP or wait and see how I do on the ultimate cruise. After all, I just might get lucky and pick the 1500 FP card and win some JP's.   Recent posts on FB are reporting points as high as 28,000 and nada offers. Not even FP.

Ships are now filling up and this looks like a supply and demand issue.

Played BJ, average ~1hr/day. Average bet must be ~$100. CBS $500 FP + balcony, standard package. Drink comps every night and one specialty meal comp w/wine.

Nice score!  That 100 a hand grabbed their attention.  Princess has pulled back on the PP packages.

Wow I can put $100 in a slot machine in 5 minutes and didn't get an offer like that.

What does it take to get Plus package comped? ~$15-200/hand? more hours?

Whatever it is, it is something I can't do without risking a divorce 🙂

That’s bizarre because I also got that exact same $600 balcony offer for 12,000 points.  I expected nothing I didn’t play after the second night at all.

Princess may be after the money you owe them 🙂 You didn't think they were gonna let you walk away/sail away with that big check, did you?

Yeah, I'm Not happy about that lame offer, and it hasn't been changed for the better.

So guess how many points I Won't be playing next year? 😑

BTW I recognize you from the Vegas boards. 💵😎

We got spoiled once the ships started sailing again after covid.  We booked 7 cruises with casino offers, mostly VIP or Heart offers.  We did 3 cruises this year and all the offers coming in have been for free interior, $250 free play and nothing else.  No plus package, so we have to pay for the gratuities.

I did book one cruise - sort of a bucket list.  17 day alaska cruise out of Seattle round trip.  We had to pay $600 pp to upgrade to oceanview cabin and we will have to pay for gratuities, and it is not until 2025.  We have no plans to book anything for 2024 unless the offers get better.  If we did not have the free interior offer, our cost for the ocean view cabin would have been $4200pp so we are saving $7000 for the trip on just the cabin cost.  I shouldn't complain, a lot of people will be paying a lot of money for this cruise.

Agree.on the “Ultimate Alaska “ cruise. When I first booked it I could not even get a casino deal then several months later got a deal not great but at least decent. Why it wasn’t available when I first booked is anybody’s guess

Looks like offers are getting better. We just booked a 14 Quebec to FLL in 2025 upgraded to a 680 sf suite with Princess plus and free play   Free balconies seem to be coming back

Good to hear. Congrats!   You deserve it.

I think I’ve booked all the comped cruises I can for 2024 and even one in 2025.  Four cruises for 45 days).  They’re all balconies with $400 in FP—no Princess Plus BUT since they’re all in Australia (where gratuities are not charged), I may upgrade in Australian dollars when I’m on-board.  We are also, FINALLY, taking a long delayed World Cruise for 110 days rt from Auckland (and, folks, sadly, no free play or discounts are offered on a world cruise!).  I’m working on my casino strategy for that 110 days!

Kabuki12,  I cannot help you with That Amex question, hope someone else can respond.

In the meantime, I got what sounded like a Princess Vip cruise offer....Balcony, FP, and drinks while in the casino.  Which is kind of the standard Vip offer.

I'm still holding out for P Perks, before booking a new cruise.

If I want to pay for perks and gratuities?  I can easily book other cruise lines.

Its like the gambler saying.... Don't marry a casino.

Which means, if you get better offers elsewhere?  Go there.

Leave your (Princess) casino behind, til they offer you better.

Not only that, but with other lines you know how many points that you need for free cabins.  And there is consistency and transparency.   It makes no sense that one person with 12,000 points will get a balcony and another with the same amount gets an inside on the same cruise.  I have not heard this happening on other lines.  Celebrity is nonsmoking so there's another plus.

I have heard of some people that have quit Princess for a while and have gotten good casino offers to lure them back.

I'll try to book a couple of casino cruises with the AMEX offer and report back whether it worked or not.

I hear ya.

Had a nice conversation with my CVP yesterday. (if you get a good one, their great to have and do lots of the legwork for you)

Anyway, I explained my situation about Not getting good offers for more play (points).

He pretty much explained... as for now.... Casino is Not giving the perks, cuz they don't have to.

Many ships are sold out, or close to it, yada.

I get it, but heres the rub.

If all I'm interested in is a comp cabin, with not much else?

We could easily sail with other Lines.  Nothing holding us to Princess.

So, as long as Princess doesn't value us as good players?  Our play will diminish.

If and when the better offers come back to those of us players that deserve it?

Then we'll book.

Land based casinos are doing the same thing..since they reopened in 2020; they’ve been going RECORD profits…sadly we need to go into a recession for the good comps to come back. (And hope we still have money to gamble!)

I donated like $400 to the princess casino and a week later they where offering me almost free cruises.  The regal repositioning cruise was 12 days for like $100 or something.

I am trying to get Royal to send me offers like that =D
