They all hold eight except for the Thrill Waterpark cabanas, those hold 6.  One person books it, you'll be given 8 wristbands to use for the Oasis, Chill Island, Southbeach and Beach Club cabanas, you get 6 for Thrill waterpark cabanas. The waterpark cabanas include being able to use all the slides, wavepool, etc.

I just booked two cabanas at Thrill and they limit you to six and no option to purchase more.  Some of the other locations allowed eight with an option to buy two more for $50 each.

Side question - on a travel agency video it says that cabanas open to book 6 months in advance of sailing. Our cruise is January 2022 and most of the cabanas already say Sold Out.

After they just not open to book yet or are they actually sold out?

The travel agency video  is wrong.

the time that they become available varies.  Some of my 2022 cruises have them for sale.

Weird about the video- my cruise is over a year out, and cabanas are available to book.

That is what I thought - it was a video walk through of Coco Cay and he went through all the different cabanas and said 6 months out. Maybe that was before, but RCCL is going to book as much as they can upfront now.
