cruiselover53 Posted May 17, 2021 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2021 Latest on cruising out of Singapore https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/25008-royal-caribbean-makes-key-onboard-changes-on-quantum-due-to-singapore-warning.html I must admit that swimming with a mask on sounds a lot of fun. Can't see RCL operating Quantum of the Seas for long with a 1000 passengers. They will do it just to prove a point but in reality they can't be making too much money
Chiliburn Posted May 17, 2021 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2021 25% capacity. It would be like staying on the ship on a port day. Why don’t they just bring quantum to sydney during the Singapore lockdown.

Use a opal card instead of a sea card. Tap on Tap off,do you think we would get away with it?

Rare MicCanberra Posted May 17, 2021 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2021 Such a shame but at least it was on land and not on the ships.
By The Bay Posted May 18, 2021 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2021 I was interested to read that the first detected case was a fully vaccinated 88-year-old male cleaner. 😧 I was wondering why was he still working at such an age.🤔 A search shows that there is no national government pension scheme in Singapore, that is neither employers nor employees are required to make any pension contributions to the government. They do have a voluntary private pension scheme without employer contributions. I could not see myself doing manual labour at 88yo.☹️
