No e-mail from Royal, but when I log in my cruise has been changed to the Odyssey.  Also shows that I owe $377.  Will wait a couple of days to see if it corrects itself before I call.

Called Royal today & they said the changes for the July 3 Independ to Odyssey should be completed & shown on our royal list by June 18. Only the ship, cabin & port (now FT Laud) changes he said, as we know. On the day it changes, we will get a new emailed confirmation. Our $200 casino free play transfers as well.

Received a new invoice from Royal and now I owe zero.  Glad to see that everything worked out for my 8/14 cruise.

This situation has been a real mess. We were booked on the Indy Aug 22 and have been expecting to hear from Royal for several days now.  So many have already received an email about the move to Odyssey and even got cabin assignments and as time passes I fear that we might not be included at all and just be cancelled as part of the reduced capacity. Other possibility is we get that “great” cabin right under the pool deck.  🤪🤪🤪. We just can’t win with Royal these days and thought with 550 C&A points we’d hang with them to Pinnacle but the road is sure getting bumpy!

No email, but the cruise planner for our July 31st sailing has been updated.  We have hit the cruise cancellation trifecta - Brilliance to Independence to Odyssey .  We have been moved to a 4pax balcony room, but we had the 1k ultra spacious ocean view - which looked like us to a nice two bedroom setup.  

 

The unplanned opportunity to get an early sailing on Odyssey inaugural season is real bonus - something we would have never planned for.   Let's hope the new ship smell lasts until the 4th cruise for the Odyssey  and the shine outweighs the beat down on the cruise planner package prices.

My TA got an email on last Friday (LATE) saying that the 9/19 Indy cruise out of MIA was being transfered to Odyssey. but as of today (Thursday) when I go to my cruise planner it show the Indy cruise out of Galveston also on the 19th. Why didn't I get transfered?!

How many people are on your reservation we are in an ultra spacious too but have 5 and still haven't been moved to odyssey....my patience is really waning....

There are now three of us.  We lucked out during the transition from Brilliance to Independence for sure.
