dunedinmaiden Posted June 6, 2021 #51 Share Posted June 6, 2021 My husband and I are both fully vaccinated and have three Royal cruises scheduled (Nov, Dec and May). However, there's no factual evidence behind Bayley's statement. Even if it was deducted from various surveys, that's still just hear say. No one has to be truthful when completing a survey -- they can say whatever they want. I still hope cruising can safely begin again -- bon voyage!
CI66774 Posted June 6, 2021 #52 Share Posted June 6, 2021 It’s estimated 60-70% of adults will be vaxxed by August so majority of cruisers will be vaxxed regardless.

We were going to do it anyway, I work in the Dental field and DH in a grocery store, so we were able to get ours months ago. Our 16yo got hers just after her birthday, and no, she wasn't forced into it, she understands the necessity. I honestly thought it would be mandatory to cruise...their ships, their rules. If you are vaxxed, you should live your life freely and not be concerned about others who decline the jab. Just like a flu shot.

We are confident they will get to 60% by August but hoping they will get to 70% and no masks indoors
