Yes .... BUT my boarding time was 10:45 for an 11:15 flight. Ask at PSD if they can fudge for 5 minutes

I've been planning to ask them that. Might even be successful. If not, then we'll schlep bags. 😀

That is what we were afraid of; that this guy totally ripped us off.  We don't even think he ran the meter as we couldn't see any amount.  However, I have started an investigation.  Something prompted me to write down his cab number and the phone number to report him.  Won't get me the money back, but got me some satisfaction that he was reported and will be investigated and flagged.

We you left in the garage where the taxi stand is?  He dropped us off at the correct door, and I didn't even think they were allowed to do that?

My sister has obvious physical limitations. As such he dropped us off at the handicap location outside the United door. The only reason we opted for the taxi was it was right at the port. They said the Uber/Lyft pick up area was a 15 min walk. I could have gotten an XL Lyft for the same $48 before tip. Would have been WAY more comfy!

But if you are seated with others the courses are served at the speed of the slowest eater.

I would have hoped that by specifying slow, medium, fast that a group put together by Princess would have all checked the same speed.

That is a phenomena which I call the "Lowest Common Denominator." Example: In my day high school did not offer Advanced Placement courses. So we were all in class together, and couldn't move on in a subject until the last person "got it"  (was up to speed)

I think she told you wrong!!! Wife and I are doing b2b2b2b...starting oct 27th.

we have the  first staterooms together then move two the last stateroom

The original ban on B2B cruises came from the CDC's original Conditional Sailing Order. That was only valid thru Oct 31. Since your second leg doesn't begin until November, your case was never in violation.

Just a post script to our story about using a taxi to the airport to try to make a flight that was too early to have been listed in EZ Air.  When I called before the cruise the last time, my call was escalated to second tier.  I talked to a Guest Relations specialist who didn't succeed in getting EZ Air to change our flight (without a very expensive fee).  She asked me to report back to her what happened and gave me her direct line.  I left a detailed message including the fact that even the front desk on the Majestic had said that flight was too early, tried to change our flight, and then recommended a taxi refunding our transfer.  When she got back to me, she apologized for all the worry and fuss that flight had caused and offered to submit a request to refund our outrageous $125 taxi ride.  When I offered to accept an onboard credit for our next cruise, she said she could do that immediately.  She also said she would tell EZ Air that flight was too early.  I wanted to post this here to give Princess some praise for making things "right!"  Well done!!

$125 taxi ride?  I have never heard of one that high.  Where in the heck did he take you?

Just from the port to the airport.  He did drop us off at the door rather than taxi stand in the garage.  However, he almost certainly lied to our face and said that was the rate posted at the port.  His meter was not visible to us.  I have reported him to the group that oversees taxis in Seattle and have a case number.  We were in a hurry to catch an early flight and didn't know what else we could do but question him and  pay him, though I did write down his cab number and the phone number to report him which was on the window of the cab. I knew to ask for a flat rate taxi but didn't see one near the front of the line, so went ahead and took first in line 😞. Wouldn't do that again.  Super happy though with Princess!
