Europe 2023 on sale next Friday 10/22

No specifics were given on itineraries and or which ships will be where, but HAL has given a firm on sale date for Europe 2023.  I suspect we will see Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Zuiderdam & Oosterdam with full European seasons and Zaandam do the annual Voyage of the Vikings (alongside a normal summer Canada season).  There is an outside chance they could put Zuiderdam on the Canada summer sailings and use her for VoV and put Zaandam in Europe on more "explorer" type itineraries, but I'm doubtful that will happen.

 

If I get more specifics I will post back here.

Volendam seems to be doing a number of the ‘explorer’ type cruises next year.  It may be possible she is doing them in 2023 as well.  time will tell.

Volendam is currently scheduled/bookable on the 7nt round trip Alaska sailings and Yukon/Denali cruisetours from Vancouver for May to September 2023

Not yet - I'd be surprised if they were announced before the end of the year, most likely sometime in early/mid Q1 2022 alongside South America and Asia itineraries.  HAL traditionally does not release itineraries as early as some other lines like NCL and Celebrity do.

2023 european Itineraries are published on many TA sites.

Observations:

A) Many repetitive itineraries, almost identical to 2022, and same ships. Let's hope 2024 is better!

B) Zaandam itineraries are completely absent (so it's not based in Europe).

C) Zuiderdam's fall 2023 itineraries are missing.

Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam are in Northern Europe.

Zuiderdam is doing Canada-Europe transatlantics and Western Europe voyages (England) until late August.

Oosterdam is in Mediterranean (in May it has a 14-day charter that's why it is missing some cruises).

Just checked and both Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam do cruises to the Baltics.

Nieuw Statendam in fall goes down to Mediterranean for a few cruises.

Both lol. I am seeing them at least at 2 sites. One is a big uk TA site.

In UK they have a queen but i personally like kings.

Cruises are more fun in UK in my personal opinion! 😉
