Excursion Recommendations, Lisbon-Cape Town, November 2022

Excursions for this cruise will be available this week. Would appreciate any recommendations. We are planning a safari after the cruise and then a few more days in Cape Town. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing Susan and David.  Board the Mariner in less than 90 days for 2022's February Lisbon to Capetown.  Briar 14 Signed up for these excursions below, maybe they will be helpful as you choose your November excursions.  Susan/David  Enjoyed your recap of the 4x4 adventure in Tenerife.  

 

Especially looking forward to visiting Capetown, since I was on the Silversea Silver Cloud and we were stuck at anchor off Capetown for five days last March when the South Africa government refused us docking for fear of covid (we came from Antarctica and South Georgia islands).  We were allowed to dock on day 5 but no excursions and only to go directly (with escort) to the airport to go home.

The stop at Walvis Bay has a lot of diverse excursions on offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Seal & Pelican cruise around the Walvis Bay Lagoon. Fascinating and lots of wildlife to be soon.

A safari and a few more days in CapeTown sounds a great way to round off your cruise.

I would have recommended the one you originally booked. Found it really interesting. The landscape is fascinating, and climbing up the dune would be just the thing for the two of you.

Thank you for the recommendations! Very helpful. Tours were reserved by 12:15 pm EST, except Cape Verde. Wes, I look forward to reading your trip reports in February. Susan, I think you are on the December 18 Mariner cruise. See you then!

Wow! I thought my experience last night was fast - 23 minutes - best excursion selection that I've ever had with Regent. I think (hope) their web site is much better.
