I was hoping to find a cruise before the repo . A cruise to Malaysia or Thailand or something but it doesn’t look like there’s and RC ships.

Unless Anthem turns up there’s nothing.

Thx - released earlier than expected and hopefully the Quantum repo turns up soon (assuming she is headed to Alaska again).

I just booked a solo cabin on Ovation's Honolulu to Sydney transpacific in October 2024 for $3281. That is $172 per night, not too bad! I actually could have had it at $3077 but the deal with the $25 deposit on that particular website was a bit more.

 

It's a tiny interior cabin though! But I sailed in one of NCL's solo cabins on a transatlantic and loved it. In that case the shower was literally in the bedroom. The room was so cute though and had tons of clever storage, and I don't recall ever feeling unhappy in there!

Also I thought the cruise fare was a little excessive compared to some of the last minute deals for the April repositionings.

Why would you be, it is a cruise line flyer. Looks tempting, especially if those flights are $499 - but it does say "from $499" so it could be anything.

I don’t know,probably Fiji air or Jetstar.

A balcony works out to about $150 a night, that’s not to bad. That’s from a local agent.

 

But the thing I find strange is Royal is offering airfares ,a bit out of character .

People are reluctant to pay for flights for open jaw cruising, so if they can help them to get cheaper flights it helps them sell cabins.

Hawaii ports only have up-to February ,so can’t tell if it’s going that direction.

As for Singapore, I don’t think Royal would send a ship that’s already been home ported.

They usually like to hype a new ship,different ship even if it’s an old one .

 Quantum would be an over kill year round in Australia , maybe something smaller.

How about Quantum to Japan and we might be getting Allure ?
I believe Allure is at a loose end after a dry dock about then.

The internet package is about the only thing I buy . I don’t think I will bother, I’ll just use my 2 free days and use my phone as a hot spot.
Global roaming is a bargain compared to the ship.
