MDR dress for men on Caribbean cruises

I do not get it.  People complain about the dress code, enforcement, or whatever on Princess, etc.

 

It seems to really bother them.  Conformity is obviously a huge issue for them.  It is all about them and their standard of dress. 

 

Yet they continue to book on those cruise lines and whine incessantly about the dress code as if it is the end of the world.

 

What's with that??
