We have a couple of casino offers for dollars off a cruise.  When we called to see about applying these to our upcoming cruises we were told we can't use them because we are using a travel agent.  Are these offers useless to us or do we have another option?  Do to work limitations we can not schedule a new cruise during the period they are valid.

You may have to use them on new bookings.

I've used my TA to book my annual free Prime cruise

In the past I’ve always been able to have my TA apply any offers that I have received but they (Club Royale) changed their relationship with TAs last year and I’m not sure if they can still make those kind of changes or not.  I would call the TA and ask.

I am interested in the answer to this as well. I would think it would depend on whether a comp cruise or one using casino credits will still give the TA commission. If not they may not want to work with it as they would not make any money on the reservation. Especially since they lost so much money with the shut down.

Casino Royale has told me that I can't use my dollars off offers with an agency booking.  I had done this in the past, but no longer.

I have talked to my travel agent and she basically advised me the same thing. The policy changed as of October 2020, I believe.

It doesn't seem fair to me to have been able to book with an agency for years and now that I have become an establish RC cruiser, the agency is not needed as far as RC is concerned.

I can more readily understand if the cruise is comped and I am paying for an upgrade, but just dollars off makes no sense to me.  JMO.

While on a Casino complementary 5 nights Mariner cruise, I received in my stateroom a cruise certificate for $200.  Used it to book a cruise while on board.  My certificate states that:

Book now with Nextcruise on board, or

Contact the Casino Rep Center, or

Contact your Travel Advisor or Independent Casino Rep.

Therefore, in black and white, Travel Advisor is mentioned.  Don't know about the Independent Casino Rep.
