I am on the 3/13 Anthem sailing and I am not concerned. I think they will limit number of passengers a few months out, but but I also agree this wave will peak in mid -January or so.

I do not want to hijack this thread, but I never understood what the fascination is about planes flying over your head.

 I lived for 17 years, right behind JFK airport, and I basically cursed just about every plane that flew over our house. 

I didn't realize I could have opened a bar and sold tickets for people to stick their heads out and get busted eardrums. I'd be rich now and enjoying the owners' suites.  😀

Yes, odyssey was unable to go to aruba and Curacao.  Last week explorer was denied st lucia.  Other cruise lines are having same problem.  It will happen, unfortunately.

As far odyssey there is another live thread and people are Not being told to stay in their cabins.  Entertainers tested positive so all shows were cancelled but All other activities are happening.  I have not heard of casino being closed on any of the other threads.  

So happy we didnt book anything during these couple of weeks.  

 We are booked for anthem on jan 9th, hopefully we all test negative and all goes well on our b2b.🤩

I am super hopeful our Feb 6 odyssey will still sail, and that we feel safe going (we’re more concerned about the flight than the cruise).  Since I’m a big pre-planner (it’s half the fun of the trip :)), it’s just so weird to be less than 2 months out, and not know if it will be a “go” or not.

We canceled our late January Allure cruise.  Was going to be the first time having a Genie.  The burden of Omicron making wearing a mask everywhere weighed on us.  Instead we are going to Turks and Caicos to chill.  I have no judgement on any of you who choose to cruise right now.  Just doing our risk management assessment for my wife and me.
