Looking for day activities in Orlando , late flight

Got flight info today, not bad at all.

we leave from Orlando 830 so looking for something to do that day, may a day at hotel pool?  Last time this happened we did space Kennedy but looking for something new.

There is a beach pretty close to the port (Cocoa Beach?) ... we rented a car (pick up port canaveral, drop off airport) and spend the day at Downtown Disney (it's free), poked around the shops and had lunch.... there is also a bowling alley ... it was a fun day

We agree with Disney Springs (downtown Disney). We normally stay there pre-cruise to buy our Disney gifts and drive to the port to embark.

Try the florida departures forum as this isn't NCL related.

Disney Springs is an option and same goes for the one at Universal Studios. Both are free and can kill a lot of time. It really depends on what you want to do. Renting a car is probably your best bet as well.

Get a hotel for the day.    Go to resort for the day site.   Relax there and enjoy all the facilities.   Try to find one with free transportation to airport

The Hyatt at the airport has a nice pool.

We had to burn 9 hours in Orlando once. We went to International drive and went to the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum and Wonder Works and had a blast!  There's lots to do in "I-Drive" to keep you busy for the day without spending "Disney" kind of money.
