Legend 04/13/04 Brett Alan - I didn't really care for him. I thought Brett and Owen were much more entertaining.

Our first cruise (but not the last) Destiny 2-1-04, Mark Hawkins. I liked him, but what do I know? We saw him around alot.

Who will we have on Victory 1-30-05 and did you like him?

To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive.

WOW!!!!!! You guys are GREAT!!!!

Went to watch my daughter's softball game and all these postings since I left.

I have a couple questions some of you may be able to answer.

Can someone discribe "Malcolm In the Middle". I have heard that name before on a cruise, but he wasn't the director. I think he may have been one of the Social Hosts on the Destiny with Troy. Someone help me out here.

Does anyone know if AJ, who was an Assistant Cruise Director, still cruising with Carnival. I sailed with him on the Imagination in 2002 (he dressed as Santa) and met his wonderful wife Cindy that is a Purser for Carnival then. Would love to find out where they are now. I know he was going to the Triumph after the Imagination. Hope he finally got promoted! He was GREAT!!!

Ranking the four Carnival cruise directors who I have sailed with:

1. Malcolm Kennedy (deceased) - the absolute best cruise director EVER.

2. John Heald - who sailed under Malcolm Kennedy in his early Carnival years. John and I reminisced extensively about Malcolm back in January on the Triumph.

3. Don't remember his name, that's how much of an impression he made, but he was still better than ...

4. Jeff Brrrrrrrrronnnnnnsonnnnn - the sorriest excuse for a cruise director, EVER. Full of himself, tried too hard, and failed. Pathetic.

CD's on other lines - Mostly unmemorable. The husband/wife team CD's on Costa were pretty bad, but other than that, nothing worth commenting on, good *or* bad.

Perhaps something else as well. Watch this space.

Dance like it hurts, love like you need money, and work when somebody's watching.

We disembarked the Spirit two days ago. The Cruise Director was Michael Mullane, our second time sailing with him and his wife, Jeni. We loved them - entertaining, talented, friendly.

The best cruise director we ever had was on RCI (sorry!) Jeffrey Arpin on the Voyager of the Seas, September 2002.
