Next Cruise

 

I booked another cruise for the Oasis in September.  My appointment time was 7PM and it’s right when the big horn orchestra started playing at the Royal Promenade.  There are no doors at Next Cruise so we were shouting at each other to communicate.  Very weird placement since during the night time there is always music and it’s really hard to hear.  WHAT?

GAK!!!  I was frightened when I saw the pool towels in my room!!!  I did not order towels… why are they here in my room!!  I am already stressed about possible towel charges on my bill and now this!  What is happening???

The Destiny was also the first cruise ship to break the 100 ton barrier.  Thirteen years later of course the Oasis debuted which was over twice it's size.

I interrupt this review for a quick question… for people that have been to UK or live in UK… would you do an excursion to The city of Bath (you can’t go into the thermal pools) or would you go see Stonehenge??  There is no option to do both so I am soliciting feedback / opinions!  I want to see both so it’s hard to pick one!

Benny, when you're there you can take a poll amongst the locals as to the proper ingredients in a trifle. 😄

Tomorrow night’s entertainment is insane!  There are so many “signature” shows to choose from.  I have never seen anything like it!  Granted the aqua show was a rescheduled but still that’s a lot even without the aqua show, plus it’s a cococay day… when will people have time to pack…

I'm pretty sure Simeon was cruise directory on Symphony three years ago.  He as just filling in for the regular one.  Quite liked him...very personal, funny and just seemed like a nice guy.

He certainly was the comedian on Symphony in 2019…would not surprise me if he filled in for Mike (or whomever Mike alternated with) some weeks!
