No they can’t be combined. So I’d rather have the free cruise than the casino cash. If a free offer hasn’t come by day 29 I’ll suck it up, pay for a cruise and be happy with $750 cc lol!

We also get some free play with our free cabin offers, but my comment was that I am not sure that you can combine that free play (from email offer) with the free play offer we get the day before disembarkation.

They are 2 totally different booking codes. I never book that offer we receive before disembarking. I receive much better offers in the email.

I booked the same day I got the offer through email about 2 hours after I received it, and I was able to grab it, but the verandahs were already taken. I would act fast as they seemed to go quickly!

Both.  We sometimes get free cabins with various levels (Inside-Verandah) and also get a casino discount rate on the same cruise.  Each approach has its pros and cons, so do some research on this board for more information.

UPDATE - new casino free cabin offer received yesterday.  This one offered Caribbean, Mexican and Panama Canal cruises, with lenghts from 5 to 21 days.  Cruises ran intp January, 2023.

I think it might be a bit of a gamble - if the remaining cabins are not sold before departure, then the price might be closer to the "free" offer, with possibly more perks (but fewer cabins to choose from).

 

For the first time, earlier this year, we booked a "free" casino cruise with a September departure; the taxes, port fees and an amount to be returned in the form of an on-board credit had to be paid up-front, with no refunds allowed. We enquired about an upgrade to a better cabin, but decided against an outlay of even more cash in the event that we might be prevented from sailing (due to current health situation or other unforeseen circumstances).
