Discovery Princess Internet Speed?

If you are on the Discovery right now, what is the internet speed?  I'm on the Royal and it's 11:41 AM and the download speed is 0.5  upload is 10.4.  I wondered if the newer ship is any better.  We are on the Discovery in five weeks.  Thanks!!!!!

On Discovery in Mexico & CA Coast it averaged close to 4 Mbps but based on their MedallionNet webpage it’s worse closer to the poles & in some other conditions.

There is a fairly widespread belief by many people that Princess has changed satellite providers and the new company is not delivering "The Best WiFi at Sea" as Princess has promised.  Of course...the satellite provider does not actually provide the *WiFi* on the ship; the ship's network system  distributes whatever signal is being delivered via the satellite link (good *or* bad).

Just did a speed test. We are between Victoria and Vancouver on Discovery. It was 5mbps up and 5mbps down.

Thanks for your help!   Discovery is better than the Royal Princess, but RCCL is the BEST internet at sea.  I hope Princess improves their service as some people need to check with their work email!
