no, but you can also pre-order the water. go to ncl .com. log on to your account and where it says beverage packages, you can order water.  if you get to know the bartender at the casaino, he may also give you a coupe if bottles each night. if he does this for you, i'd slip him a few bucks,

We brought empty water bottles and filled them with cups of water at the water stations on the Jewel so that we'd have water for when we were on excursions.  I wish they had nicer water bottle filling stations like you see at the airports and in modern buildings, but we made do. We also were able to bring cups of water to our room. It all worked out ok doing this.

Are empty or full water bottles allowed back on the ship after a port day? I still need to decide on what I'm doing for my cruise but it would be a big pain if they get confiscated.

I usually empty mine before boarding (I bring a couple refillable bottles with me to take on shore) if I don't polish off the water I brought on shore with me.  However, I think they're becoming less strict about bringing water back.

One solution that we came up with - reuse those "Just Water" refillable cartons (16.9 oz) after rinsing them clean ourselves, fill it up in the buffet station with a clean cup each time, and take them along when going ashore.  Nowadays, we get 4 of them waiting on embarkation day.  We then return to the ship and empty them out before reaching security - put them thru x-ray or have ship security hand/visually inspect them - problem solved.  One less item to fit/pack in the carry-on/checked luggage embarking on a cruise ... environmental friendly and NCL getd to keep them when we disembark, recycle or whatever.

With CAS drink cards, our friends usually can get premium sparking water in a bottle from the casino beverage folks ... tip them as always, of course.

I take a KleenKanteen aluminum water bottle with me. I ask the room steward for ice and then fill it with water from my room. My Kleen keeps it nice and cold for a long time. I do dump out any water if coming back on the ship.

Using the "Just Water" refillable cartons that are on the ship is good idea too.  😀

No bottled water in the drink package is something NCL should fix…

I agree, but if people are booking cruises with the package as-is why would they change it.

Actually, I don't believe they are refillable, you usually don't want to re-use those types of bottles/packages.

I think it is fine to refill them a few times on a cruise, but not long term. My husband refilled ours with water and ice from the ice bucket. We requested ice from our room steward on the first day of the cruise. They no longer automatically put ice buckets in the room, but it is no problem requesting one. We were in a balcony cabin and also requested a coffee set up.

My experience on board is that most do not know that bottled water isn't on the Free at Sea package..I know of no other cruise line that markets drink packages without it.  Although I'm sure it exists somewhere.
