Doctors note no longer required for medical exemption

You’re correct.  I was thinking of the Mexican Riviera cruises out of Long Beach.  The Mexican ports visited on Caribbean cruises would be included in the “no doctor’s note required.”

It is still not a free for all like many are implying.  You still have to be granted one of the limited exemption slots to even get to the second step.  If you happen to be granted one you requested under a medical exemption you just don't have to have a letter from your doctor now.

Surely you jest. Princess and Holland have added mask requirements back for Alaska cruises. I wouldn't be surprised if that expands.
