Vow renewal anyone?

I'm seeing a private vow renewal for $499 under gifts...    anyone experienced it?  When it says to choose "delivery " date, does that mean it happens then or they present the person you select with the certificate......

 

 

It lists dh, dd, and me as selections for whom they shpuld deliver it to...       which is weird....  so am trying to determine if I'm actually picking the vow renewal date or just when dh will find out about it.

You would need to coordinate the actual date (not by selecting delivery date or person).

Thank you but the vow renewal is definitely not the same thing.  It's just a brief ceremony,  one single rose, and  "couples cake".  This brochure is for a full on wedding.  It'd be nice but more $ than I was looking at spending.

Yes exactly this is it. But there's a drop down menu when you put this in your cart to choose the "delivery " date.

 

What im asking is....am I choosing the date of the ceremony or the date they deliver the strawberries etc?

 

The ceremony is performed by an officer....I don't see the officer showing up at our cabin, so I am just trying to figure out how it all works. With dd home for the summer it's difficult to get a private conversation on the phone (it's a surprise for dh).

My husband surprised me with this on a family cruise for our 35th. anniversary. He told me the day of and it was nice. The family was there when I was escorted to a private room. Ships officer preformed the ceremony, we had a little music, and a full sized wedding cake it was beautiful. Would have liked to know ahead of the cruise as it was a trip to Bermuda and I didn't pack a dress.

I have no clue how much this cost he would never say, but lovely.

DH asked me if I would like to do a vow renewal ceremony for our 40th.  I asked him "Did it not "take" the first time?" 🙂
