Chef’s Table on Wonder of the Seas

Recommended Posts

We sail on the Wonder on the March 5th 2023 sailing and there is one available on my cruise planner.  It's currently being offered at $79pp, we booked it.  We're looking forward to it as it will be our first Chef's Table.

Does anyone know where the Chef’s Table is held on Wonder of the Seas?

Thank you.

There's a couple of Youtube videos out on the CT on WoS.  We have done several on Allure and Oasis and enjoy the location in the Suite Lounge.  I'm debating for our November WoS to book it due to the location being in the Solarium Bistro.  Look for Youtube by Harr Travel he just did an extensive tour of the Wonder that must have lasted two hours.  His videos are outstanding.

Thank you.  I just watched the video and it is outstanding!  Can't wait for the cruise!

I booked Chef's Table for the first time for our anniversary this October on Mariner. Can anyone tell me where it is held on the Mariner? TIA!

Should be at rear of MDR on the small balcony between decks 4 and 5.  You will meet up at a different location, have a cocktail, and then be escorted to the location.  Lots of fun and non stop wine, enjoy.

I would disagree here.  I love Chef's Table and try to do it on every cruise.  Best experience I've had is on Grandeur and Enchantment. They have their own venue for it and its great.

The worst experience was Allure and Navigator.  As someone said, it is on the landing in the MDR between deck 4 and 5.  On a full cruise, it is LOUD.  So loud, that we could not have a decent conversation until closer to dessert time when the crowds in the MDR started dying down.  On Allure, we had the same problem.  We were on the 2nd level of the Diamond Lounge which was closed off for Chef's Table.  However, we had to deal with the loud Diamond Happy hour which started to die down after the 3rd or 4th course.  I did it on Mariner, but we were at 50% capacity, so the noise was negligible, but since that's probably never going to happen again anytime soon, expect the noise level to be higher now that things are getting back to normal.  I suspect on Freedom Class ships, Chef's Table will be held at the same venue as the Voyager Class.

When did they move it on the Allure?  We did both Allure and Oasis and it was in the Suite Lounge.  Most fun was the galley dinner on Carnival.

I was on Allure in 2019.  Last cruise before the pandemic.  Maybe they changed it due to the complaints.

I would also disagree. We've done it on Grandeur and (I think) Legend where they have created a separate dining room at the back of the MDR but easily the best locations are on Radiance class ships where they have a separate and well appointed dining room

Worst experience was Explorer where they they pulled a curtain across the back of Chops and put the table there. It could have been worse - apparently they sometimes held it in the Windjammer

Have seen mention of various locations on other ships but to fully enjoy the experience I would only do it in one with a separate dedicated dining room

That's actually where a real chef's table would be located.
