Free Casino Cruise Legit?

Last weekend I got an email from Celebrity offering a free 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise supposedly through the Blue Chip program which as far as I know I never joined.  It looked legit so I filled out my sail date requests.  Today I get the booking confirmation for a 7th floor bump out balcony room cruise late feb 2023 to Cabo.  All I have to pay is port charges.  We have sailed Celebrity many times but some trips we never gamble and once in a while will spend less than 50.00 for the week.  Is this a legit cruise offering.  I've never been offered anything like this before.

yes it is legit. I booked mine and paid the taxes and port fees and it show on Celebrity  when I log in .. just like any cruise you book

I feel like I won something with just paying $139 for a cruise. That is the same price as a cruise excursion!! I have only spent small amounts on the slots on their cruises so I was amazed as well but thrilled!

I received the offer as well, but threw it out thinking it was not real. Any idea how to get the offer now without the flyer? TIA

Always curious how strict the deadline is, anyone successfully book AFTER the deadline of Aug 1st?  I booked mine on 7/1

Some of the offers were by August 1,mine was August 3rd. The offer also had a number which they asked for at time of booking.

 My email had an offer code.   Book by Aug 3.   I picked a few dates and got a confirmation email the next day.

This Mex Riviera/Solstice offer has had a lot of firsts:

-  In the other threads, several have stated they received the offer and never gambled

-  Excessively long hold times, I was on hold for almost 3 hours

-  Reps answer their phones with "are you looking to book the Mexican Riviera?"

-  Reps stated they're extremely busy due to this offer and have a massive back log

-  Reps claim they can't find the offer in your profile (never a problem before) and request you send the email to them; the offer isn't an unique offer code and you'd imagine this could open to the door to fraud if someone was willing to photoshop a friends email to get an almost free cruise

-  Despite being backlogged, apparently they sent out two sets of offers, one ending on Aug 1st and one ending on Aug 3rd.

 

I'm just speculating, perhaps they didn't fill the ship enough after the Aug 1st offer so they decided to send another offer perhaps to those with lower play?

I just clicked into the link of the email-- last date = 8/03... apparently they extended to 8/16.  I waited 1 hr & I gave up.  No one actually called me back when I filled in the link.  I will try again tomorrow 🙂

My offer had to be booked by Aug 3rd. If I submitted my request online I should receive my reservation info by Aug 16th so I am not sure they have really extended the offer.
