Lunch at Chops day of arrival question.

We’re thinking about dining at Chops for lunch on day of arrival. I know what normal dress code is but is it more relaxed on day of arrival? Can you wear shorts? It’s always a hot mess schlepping around the luggage ect. on arrival day.  Also where can we put our bags while we dine? Thanks

You can wear whatever you boarded in. They know that no one has their luggage yet.

As long as you are not wearing a bathing suite you will be fine.

My hubby had the same question when I told him I had booked Chops.  I said I assume they know we can't be dressed up since we just got on the ship.  I have never done this before.  I didn't even know about.  Has this been a thing for awhile and I never knew?

I thought they reserved lunch at Chops for only those with the Key.  Did that change?

The Key eats in the MDR with the Chops menu.

If you have unlimited dining you can go as well

You can wear shorts to dinner at Chops and no one will say a word.

Just wheel your luggage into Chops with you.  They'll either leave it next to your table, or offer to hold it off to the side somewhere.
