On the app, it says "Check in opens September 29th"

Typically, does that mean it opens up at midnight on that day?

What info do I need to have ready in order to complete the check in process? Vaccine cards? credit cards? IDs? anything else?

Can I do the check in online instead of the app? (old eyes can see better on the computer screen if it available that way)

Yes, opens at midnight. If I remember correctly, you will also need your passport information.

Not sure if you can check in online. I have only used the app. I would try though. Not everyone has a device for the app.

Semantics, but if you're checking in on the app, you're checking in online.

 

But yes, you can check in on the website.

I was able to check in at 9:00 pm Pacific time the day before check in opened up.  So it opened up at Midnight eastern time.

Yes, the app will open at midnight -- in theory.  In our case, it didn't open until 24 hours later.  So if our date had been September 29, our app actually opened at midnight September 30.  I assume that's an oddity.  

 

I used the computer -- I found it easier.

You can find You Tubes of people doing their check-in.  

 

You should have ready: 

- Passport or other ID information 

- I don't think vaccine cards are required any longer 

- Credit card(s) 

- The time you'd prefer to check in /board the ship; most people want the earliest time slot -- that's why people check in at midnight.

- You can take a picture of yourself, but they retook ours in the terminal anyway 

- Other information you know such as your address

Just an FYI, originally my check in showed date that was 46 days away, and check in usually happens at 45. So don’t always trust what app or website says. If it doesn’t work one day, just try the next. Also, I was checking in for the Wonder, which is in Barcelona, so it went by midnight there, which happened to be 3pm here on the West coast. So, also be aware of that. Could depend on where ship is.

Yes, usually midnight where the ship embarks. 
 

personally we want a later boarding time so it doesn’t matter.

Check in opens at midnight local time of the port city the ship is sailing from.
