Can someone tell me if the Royal or Discovery offer Royal high tea, for those of you that don’t know, this is not the tea served Dailey in the main dining room but a special High tea you pay extra for. I had it on the Regal, but I can’t seem to find if it is offered Od Discovery or Royal,

Thank You

The last time I had this was on the Regal in 2018 - super delicious! However, when my group attempted to have it on the Royal Princess in Nov 2019, they said that there weren't enough people who showed interest to hold one. By the numbers, my group in 2018 was ~10 people, and in 2019, we had six.

We depart on Saturday (08OCT) on the Discovery.  According to the app planner they have 2 days of High Tea at 3pm.  One day is Cabo but I dont remember the 2nd day off the top of my head.

That is likely the free version in the dining room.

oops sorry!   Nothing about Royal High Tea on the app.   Ive never heard of it on any of my Princess cruises.  We have always done the free one.  I can ask when we are onboard if you want.

I have not seen any Royal high tea available in several years including on Sky (pre-pause) and Enchanted & Discovery (post-pause).

Sorry to hear it.  I was thinking it might be a way to use up some of that OBC I've got.

As I recall the most recent Royal-class ships do not have the tea tower adjacent to the International Café.

I hope they still have it. We last did it the summer of 2019 on the Royal. To the Op, you’re correct; it’s different from the free one you can experience in the dining room and well worth it.

You’re served a tower of treats like you would get in England, they have live music, and you’re served several different teas.

I have seen them setting up for this once, several years ago.  I think it was the Regal?   It was in the one circular area in the Piazza, and they had it all set up and decked out with tables, nice dishes, white tablecloths, rose(s) on each table.  It did look special.  Something that I would want to do, but always so many other things on a cruise!

I would consider it on our next cruise.  But seems they don't offer it any more?
