sgallojr Posted October 30, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2022 I just booked a Greece cruise for June 2023 on the Rhapsody of the Seas. I have a question about the WiFi packages. When I clicked one device for each passenger (4) it came out to almost $600, but when I clicked just me but with four devices, it said $300 for the week. I don't see a difference except a heck of a lot cheaper the second way. Anyone ever have this same question or done similar?

We just sailed on Navigator I got the 4th device for $5 per day.
Fontaid Posted October 30, 2022 #6 Share Posted October 30, 2022 I think the only "negatives" are that with the one user/4 devices package, all four of you would use the same username and password. That's not a problem by itself. But if one of the group decides to log in a second device and 4 devices are already logged in, then one of the logged in devices will get bumped off. If you can manage this, then always buy one user, multiple devices. It is definitely cheaper.
cruiseguy1016 Posted October 30, 2022 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2022 You can buy the 4 device package and share it with ANYONE you want. It can be family members, friends, some guy you just met in the Schooner Bar - anyone.
Rare bobmacliberty Posted October 30, 2022 #8 Share Posted October 30, 2022 And in case you don't know, you do not NEED to buy a package for 4 devices. You can purchase just a single device package (or 2 device package) and share it between 4 people. The drawback is that only one person (or 2 people) at a time can use the internet. Each person will need to log in before they can get internet access, and in the process of doing so, will log out anyone else who was using the internet. We always buy a package with enough devices to cover the number of people traveling, as it always seems that multiple people want to access the internet at the same time, and it gets painful to share. If you just need occasional use and don't mind sharing, you can save some money.
