Helipad

I arrived at the meeting location and was asked to change my shoes. I totally forgot no open toed shoes allowed.

The location is deck 5 port side theater. There is a rear door in the theater that leads to the helipad.

The event was well attended. I would not recommend this event for those who cannot navigate stairs. See the pictures below.

Celebrity rolled out the red carpet for us. Drinks were plentiful. The view was beautiful. Guests and crew were ready.

We waited and waited. A fellow guest told me we are delayed. The crowd began to thin out. Many passengers left the helipad. An officer came around and said 30 minutes or longer due to a medical emergency.

After another 30 minutes passed, I also left the helipad.

Roped blocked the most furthest forward area of the helipad.

It’s intentional I’m trying not to get the faces of fellow guests.

That's the first time that I have seen that low netting barrier (aka tripping hazard) set up during a passenger event at the helipad.

It was there for our sail away from Costa Maya last week.  And actually, I'm pretty sure I saw it anytime during the cruise I looked out the front (such as from Reflections Lounge) so I don't think it was set up just for the sail away.

It was there for the Toulon sailaway during the TA.

Interesting. We have sailed in cabins facing the bow six times on S class ships and I never saw anything like that.

Looks like a different menu from the TA. Did you like the food and presentation?

The beef short ribs were the best!!!

So tender and favorful.

I couldn’t eat either dessert however the crew tried really hard. No dairy for me, no chocolate, sorbet too sweet, etc…

About a year ago I started having gastro problems. I’m still discovering things that cause tummy aches. I added tomatoes to my list also. No tomato tart for me. My mom said it was delicious.

The crew aimed to please and I reassured them I was satisfied with no dessert.

The presentation was very good. Service was good also.

Weird. I had a cloth bag.

I think suites get cloth bags.   When we sail in a suite the bags are cloth.  When in AQ they are paper.

My surprise from today

Tomorrow San Juan - last port

If that is the best view then why isn’t the Bridge there?   🤷‍♂️

We have another 2 days at sea. These arrived tonight ☹️4E268674-28B2-490C-BFD1-7C143ADFCAEE.thumb.jpeg.2ae88a29dd546e94a320f9eb1459436b.jpeg

Never like seeing them except when we would get them in the mail.  It is always a bad sign when on the ship.

Sea day

First time I’ve noticed this is the OVC. The station is located in the back.E32260AA-4A25-4229-9A6C-EC7E0D2DC8CE.thumb.jpeg.96c15074fc67e9b0e5ebcd2e2aa9ead7.jpeg

Yes, it’s not immediately visible. It’s a made-to-cook pasta station during lunch time.
