On one of the earlier nights of our TA Connie cruise, I noticed that the menu in the app did not completely match the entrees listed in the physical menu presented at the dining room. After that, I stopped looking at the app menu.

They seem to be pretty spot on on this leg.

Cheers

Another back-of-the-boat TA person, and we had paper laundry bags, too. We had to ask for a bag each time we wanted to do laundry, and each time were given a paper laundry bag.

My husband takes the laundry bag challenge very seriously. I keep telling him there is no prize for most pieces, but he feels he needs to pack every square inch.  I cannot imagine what he could do with a cloth bag when not worried about bag-tearing. :classic_blink:

Wow!  DH has the same comments abut Yours Truly 🙂

Tampa

We arrived shortly before 6am.

No announcements have been made to disembark.

Thanks for doing this thread during your cruise.  It looks like you had a great time.  I hope embarkation goes smoothly for you.

Final Thoughts

would definitely sail Constellation again. The ship is in great shape without being revolutionized. The crew was friendly and eager to please.

My cabin was small and was repaired within the hour.

After room service I received a call asking how was my breakfast.

The activities staff was engaging and offered a diverse program of game shows, arts and crafts, trivia, games by the pool and activities with guests versus officers.

The captain’s club desk and guest services delivered excellent service.

A birthday card was left on my door. Very thoughtful of guest services.

The solarium was never overly crowded.

The food - there were some hits and misses however that’s to be expected on any cruise or any land restaurant.

The ship moved a lot. Swaying back and forth for several days. I’m not sure why. Someone said it was due to the hurricane however Nicole had passed once we boarded.

A special thanks to @mahdncand @GonzoWCSand @Ex-Airbalancerand @hrhdhdfor providing additional information to others which I may have overlooked.

we too were on this cruise and the somewhat rough seas yesterday were caused by a front that we went through off the west coast of fla......we too enjoyed the cruise, food was hit/miss and service was amazing...Shows were good for the most part and the lounge bands, and the rest of the entertainers were outstanding.. I did not follow this thread while we were on the ship, we were too busy having fun....we got offered a free future  cruise with celebrity and will look forward to sailing on the "connie" again....life is good

gamble a little in the casino....they offered us freebies on cruises out of san juan, L.A. and tampa...a few out of each port...the offer comes from blue chip which is a part of celebrity cruises company.. hope that helps...just know that the "connie" is still our favorite ship of all time and we will take them up on the offer gladly....wish everyone well.....clearwater.

Great information here. Just booked a 11 night on Connie yesterday for March. Have not been on Celebrity since 2002 on Zenith out of Tampa. Looking forward to Elite status perks since we are Diamond on Royal. Tired of driving to Ft Lauderdale and Miami from Tampa area for our recent cruises on Royal also.

Perks such as $400 OBC made it cheaper than a 10 night Vision of the Seas cruise in March that I will cancel. Got one of the larger outsides on deck 8 in forward part of the ship. No brainer to me to cancel Vision.
