Masks required in Theatre and Casino on Apex

Was just browsing thru the App and looks like for my cruise on the Apex Dec. 2-10, 2022, masks are required in the Theatre and Casino.

 

Is this new, or is the the norm on all Celebrity ships?

Interesting that's in there but it's too soon, starts to get more accurate a few days before the sailing

This looks new.  For my cruise on the Millennium that disembarked last week, there was no notices like this - either in the paper newsletter or its online equivalent (at least before it crashed on me midway through).  BTW, they were rarely worn anywhere by anyone - crew or passenger.

The same notes are on those venues for my Dec. 10 Apex cruise. I'm hoping they just weren't removed from when they were accurate.

I am on Equinox RT Port Everglades on Dec. 12 and the casino and theater pages on my app do NOT say anything about masks...otherwise they look similar to the pages posted by the OP. Probably just a leftover from more restrictive Covid times that was not taken down for that ship.

On constellation now and most are not wearing masks. I’m assuming the app is out of date.

I agree…I think they just didn’t upgrade the page…I think someone would of reported from the ship..

Apex sailed yesterday. There's a roll call, with posts from today. (Not many, admittedly.) If there was a mask requirement, I'm pretty sure there would be MULTIPLE posts about it. I'd consider it an artifact.

And consistency across their website and app? Puh-leeease...

I'm on the Apex now... there is no mask requirement for passenger or crew. A mask sighting is a rare occurrence to my delight on this sailing.

Please, please stop stressing. What it shows or doesn't show is totally irrelevant. The requirements can and will change day by day and ship by ship to meet local and onboard conditions. The only way you can guarantee that you won't have to wear a mask is to stay at home. Relax and enjoy your cruise.
