Carnival "Casino Fun Play"

When you are Platinum, you receive $25 in Casino Fun Play. Since we don't use the Casino, is there any way to use this perk in any other way?

For instance, I've heard when you have a non-refundable OBC, you can go to Sweet Shop and buy gift cards, then cash out at a Kiosk.

( I haven't done that to know thats true, though.)

Does anyone know if it is possible with the Casino Fun Play to do something similar?

before the funplay, it was a free tournament entry which is even less useful if you're not a gambler...at least on some ships they give you the $25 funplay as cash.

Thanks. We just got off Vista. Next year will be Dream.

Cash is given on older ships.  Newer ships loaded on your card.  You cannot choose which option.  Cash is yours to do as you please but FunPlay must be played on slots or table games.

In all my years cruising I have never heard of this         I did know that if you have OBC left over   you can cash out at the casino.     This 25.00 for play might have to be played    and cashed out

Yes, any charges to your S&S will be covered by OBC so you just purchase whatever you want in the FunShops.

Since the Restart I have been given $25 cash at the casino on all 9 cruises (one on MG) which I hope they keep doing.  Either way, I'd use it for game play in the casino.

That was the case for us until our cruise last week, where we were given Fun Play credit.
