I was on the Singapore to Sydney sailing and whilst they claimed to have run out of Pommery, a barman told us we could order it through our butler and that's exactly what we did and bingo!!!

True,  there was apparently a small enough supply to order and drink in the room but not for them to be able to provide it in the bars. We don't really enjoy dinking in our cabin.

The notices re no veggies, fruit, meats, flowers,  seeds etc. is on the TV after every cleaning. Read over the PA system before every exiting. Brochures in the rooms. Bag inspection of baggage departing. A $400.00NZ fine if caught.

First formal night. Amazing how many showed up without ties. Many without jackets.
One even said he didn’t pack a coat. Last restaurant manger left in a hurry.  Never heard of the new one before (Michael) whose luggage still has not arrived. Rough seas still forecast for tonight.

Sad to hear that the slide in standards continues to accelerate. Hope you got rocked to sleep.

Rocked we did , but not to sleep. It was a quick sprint between bed and bathroom. The rock down here goes from port to star ward , not fore and aft.

Not quite as bad as Drake’s passage though. Quite a few new ones coughing and wearing masks. Some new crew showed up also wearing masks.

Now 9 am and the waves were splashing our balcony on deck 5.

The furniture was removed from the LT deck and the cushions removed from

Panorama deck.

This is the sign that is posted everywhere.

Bypassing Picton, high winds. Heading to Wellington.

Weather has been really bad.

Restaurant last night was a zoo. Unable outside activities.

Hope things improve!  Mother Nature is obviously having a hissy!  Keep smiling!

Oh! BTW, our in transit (free) tour of the Auckland north shore ended across the harbor from our ship. The guide gave us a ticket to the ferry. Pointed to the terminal at the end of the shopping area and said it lets you off by our ship. We just missed one. The next one was canceled because it was hit by a cruise ship. We made the next one, which was filled to the brim. Including screaming kids, tourists and refugee looking people trying to find a cruise ship.

Better not run out of Cointreau or there are going to be some pretty upset margarita drinkers.

We ran out last week on the Cloud, a few days before the end of our cruise. Not many places to pick up a fresh supply in Antarctica, though. 🤣
