Airfare perk provided by NCL

My travel agent forgot to get an air deviation for an upcoming cruise and I want to go a couple days early. What will happen if I don’t show up for my flight to the port? Will I get penalized ? Will they cancel my return flight?

Yes, your return flight will be cancelled.  I believe if you're more than 75 days out, you can still have the flight deviation added I'd call.

They will not entertain any discussion of deviations after 75 days.  I did not use  the return flight, but used the flights to get to port of embarkation, so I can't comment on that.

Airlines automatically cancel your return flight if you miss the outgoing flight.

If you're far enough out, they'll let you make changes (I believe 75 days is the deadline, but don't quote me). I have used the flight going but have ditched the return flight. I was never penalized. BUT, if you don't show up for the outbound flight, and if the return flight is on the same record locator (and on the same airline) it will get automatically canceled.

I think the flight would still be cancelled, but isn't it possible with the flights from NCL that the return flight is on a different airline than the flight to the port?

Thanks everyone for the info. It is the same airline on the return trip and I don’t want lose that, so I guess I will have to pay the penalty vs taking a chance.

If they're not linked by the record locator (if they're actually different "trips") I don't see how even on the same airline they could cancel the return if you no-show for the outbound.  I suppose it's possible though.
