Try contacting the dining department at RCLDining@rccl.com prior to your cruise.

This was going to be my suggestion also. If you don't get a response from them, go to the dining room after boarding and talk to the Maitre D. He/she should be able to help you.

We are traveling with family who only speak spanish.  Is there a way to request a waiter pre-check in who speaks spanish?  It would make it a lot easier when ordering in the MDR.

if not successful, try Google translate.  I used it all the time at work when I didn't speak Russian, Polish, Spanish or Vietnamese.

If not successful, then the OP can translate.

But you should be able to match up with a spanish speaking waiter

that's what I originally thought.  But OP could be using google translate now.  Reminds me of when my husband has to translate with Italian for the rest of us when family would come over to visit.

And actually I know they do this because people I used to work with were from Nicaragua and when they went on Royal years ago, they were able to get a spanish speaking waiter in the MDR.

Spanish speaking waiter, no problem.

A speaker of the incredible Zulu language would be a tougher find. But there maybe someone on your ship.

BTW: I’m fluent in Latin… sadly it’s for the isle of Swine.
