Like other Celebration reviews, I'm following this one, as I will be on the 6/25 sailing.  I keep hoping for a picture that shows my all-time favorite Carnival employee, Dajana.  She was one of the Alchemy bartenders on our Vista cruise last summer.  She's on the Celebration right now, and I've read about her being at the Latitudes or Golden Jubilee bars.  Of course, she could be at any of the other bars, too.

I will try and check Latitudes and Golden Jubilee out tomorrow and note if she’s there!

Is that Dusan, pronounced Doo-shan? If so, he was on Sunshine at alchemy.

I think so! He said he was on Sunshine!!

January, February and March are known for being windy during a cruise.  We always preferred Sept thru November during hurricane season, calmest seas and winds when no storms are about.

We like those months too. I’m making the best tho..I’m on a cruise!!!

Ok y’all…ignore the cruddy notes tonight…Nichola has got me MESSED UP!

Rudi’s…we had a 5:30 reservation. We elected to dine outside. It was awesome! Not too hot, not too chilly, not too windy…just perfect! Tonight was a Free wine, promo, red or white. I elected for white, it was good. Shrimp thing to start, it was yummy! I got the Shrimp app, after asking if the shrimp or the scallops were better. I ended up with both!! The shrimp wind. Slightly spicy, just a really, really good flavor. Scallops are good, just not as flavorful. Light a mashed potato with cheese almost. I got the romaine salad, which was good, then the crabcake main, which was good. I got the chocatre truffle cake as dessert; it was Devine! Chris got calamari as a starter, very good! Tender, not chewy. Chris’s steak cooked perfect.

Had trouble with the site last night, sorry for the lack of update!
So last night…after dinner, which ended about 745, we hung out at alchemy. Dusan and Nichola ROCK. Dusan made an almond joy drink that rocked, then Nichola made me an absinthe drink that put me to bed.  We did order room service (supposedly included in our room, but I’m showing a change for it?) to try and sober up. We got firecracker shrimp (Basically fried shrimp with sweet baby rays sweet & spicy chili sauce), a Philly cheesesteak (which was good) and wings (ok, but Chris was DRUNK and I don’t eat wings so I can’t judge!)… we shall see how that settles to the onboard account.

The room service did charge our account, so we made a trip to Guest Services to get that taken care of. Supposedly by the end of the day it’ll be reversed.
We are in Amber Cove today, from 8 to 4. We are getting pizza for breakfast (we got cravings!) and then I plan to relax on Loft 19 and Serenity.
flipping the rocking chairs over on the balcony last night remedied the banging issue!

Absinthe is my kryptonite as well!  We go to a Cajun restaurant that serves a drink called a "Swampwater" that has Absinthe (along with other ingredients) and it knocks my socks off!

Noting the curly fries from room service. The only other time I've seen those was when I ordered cheese sticks off of the kids brunch menu. Their curly fry usage is very random.

The room service menu specifies they come with curly fries, it made me happy! They’re my favorite!

I lied, I moved. Went to Loft 19 about 1. Danggit I paid for access to this area with my cabin fare, I need to use it! Found a shaded lounger by the spa. Then bar service came around! I like this! And a lady with chilled towels! Do you know how good a Funship tastes while sitting in a “warm tub” with a chilled towel on your neck? This is the life.
Cabanas  are not filled up, but I think that’s because it’s a port day. Now, I need some lunch.

Darn it, I want a burger. Like…I’m salivating at the thought of one. The line is long tho. Got in a 1:40, let’s see how quick it moves.

Hopefully won't be long. When we were on the Valor I feel like it took forever. Which sucked. It seemed like there was always a line.

Can't wait to hear your report. On MG I'd see lines like this and just say "nah" and get something else.. then once i REALLY wanted that Funderstruck burger so I vowed to stick it out... I swear, the thing moved so fast...

we will be on Celebration next summer, love seeing what’s what!

loved our sailings on Mardi Gras, nice to see the slight adjustments they made with this ship to make it unique.

Took 22 minutes. The burger was good, but not worth the wait.

MG was fast! Today, Celebration wasn’t so fast. Oh well. I’m still on vacation!

There’s a few adjustments, and I like the ship, but I honestly think I might like MG just a tad more.

Alright, sorry for my extended silence today, I finally gave up and tried downloading Google Chrome to see if it helped me get into Cruise Critic on my phone. And here I am! Appears that Safari isn’t a CC fan? Anyway, I’m trying to type up my notes before I fall asleep to do todays post, but it’s nearly 1 am…the next update may come tomorrow.
