Water

Do they have regular bottled water on the ship? We don't like the alkaline water. We normally just drink the ship's tap water, but if they have the regular it will keep us from bringing an extra container in our luggage. We will just buy one bottle and refill it the rest of the time.

The boxes can be refilled a few times.

If we bring a refillable water bottle, how many locations are there on the ship where you can refill it with tap water?

Anywhere you find a bar or at the buffet or your room yahoo is perfectly fine.

We've been filling our bottle from the bathroom tap and leaving it in the fridge overnight. There's a couple in the Haven that bring 2 large refillable bottles to the bar at night and they refill them with something for them free of charge.

If you want filtered water without chlorine taste, at the buffet. They require you to dispense the water into a glass, then into your bottle, to avoid you putting the bottle under the dispenser. You can ask a bartender to fill it for you also. The water in these venues is charcoal filtered, whereas the water from your tap in the cabin will have chlorine in it.

when we are in a suite, we have our butler keep a pitcher of ice water and ice tea in our fridge.

29 days at sea last month all using tap water and crystal lite.

Why? Lots of beverages everywhere on the ship.

Or If you have to mask the taste of the tap water with crystal lite, the you probably don’t want to be drinking it.

Because all I drink is water.   I don’t drink alcohol or coffee or soda.
im not masking anything.  I like crystal lite black iced tea sometimes. And it’s easy to travel with.

I thought NCL is not allowing to bring water on board.

You're right. You can't bring your own water on board. You can bring an empty drink bottle to be filled at the buffet, bars or in your stateroom. Or buy their packaged water (in cartons instead of plastic bottles).

"Effective for sailings July 15, 2016, guests are prohibited from bringing any beverages -- including liquor, beer and non-alcoholic drinks such as water, pop and juices -- on board either as carry-on or checked luggage"

What's the rule for if you have the regular free at sea beverage package, do you get 1 of those Flow waters a day or do you have to buy it?

Free cartons of Flow water are only given as a perk of Suites/Haven rooms, upper Latitudes levels.

And, possibly, a few other situations.

Here's a rare collectible:

Do you see that WATER6PK promo?  That appears to be what NCL was advertising a few months back.  At one time, it even showed up on NCL.com under the trip summary.  First it wasn't there, then it was, now it's gone.  I'll be shocked if it actually shows up in the room on the ship.  🤣

I remember seeing that promo.  It's one that has been discussed quite a bit recently, and one that seems to have left some people very disappointed.  Hopefully, you get the water you (rightfully, it seems) expect!

What I expect?  Just the regular two free for Platinum

What I want?  It makes no difference, it's just freakin' water.😁

Just adding my (probably worthless) $0.02)- the Flow water tastes absolutely gross and I am not a water snob by any means. I definitely found the cabin water or filling at the buffet preferable so would consider a refillable bottle an essential item to pack.

The “rule” Is that you get nothing. You have to buy it. Not included with the standard Premium Beverage Package.

Suites get a couple of boxes per cruise.

Upper tier Latitudes members get a box per cruise.

Casino guests get free water at the casino bar. Or you can qual at the Pearl level in the casino (spend $25,000 in the casino on your cruise). In the casino, you can qual for Ultra top shelf drinks by spending $175,000.

You mean play through $25,000 and not spend $25K.  I'm Pearl and I did not spend anywhere close $25K in the casino.  However, I did play through 25K over the week in the casino.  If I spent 25K in the casino, my wife would divorce me.

We are Latitudes Gold. We had a balcony. We received 6 liters each of the Flow water due to our gold status. It was so much water for a 7 day cruise that we ended up leaving 5 liters when we got off the ship.
