Stone Island - Mazetlan

When you exit the Cruise Passenger Terminal and reach the street, turn left.  Walk down the street about 10 minutes until the street turns right.  Do not follow the road to the right; instead, dead ahead is a dirt "road".  Follow that to the shack that sells the tickets to the ferry.  $30 MX (or $2US) pp., round trip.

If you search for Stone Island on this forum, you will find maps and maybe videos of the walk.

As of 4/8/23 it's still safe and 35 pesos each.

and as of 4/12 the same 🙂 ...the walk seemed shorter than usual. Maybe because it wasnt stinking hot like it can be

LOL... I guess it was the 12th when we were there too.  I agree, perfect weather.  Did you get to see that fog cloud that rolled in for about 20 minutes or so?

We were there last December and found our way to Lety's.  My husband just loved the place and the food.  So did I.  There are plenty of places to stop for food and drink but I had heard good things about Lety's here on cruise critic so that is where we stopped.  This December we are going back and would like to try a different restaurant.  Any suggestions?

We walked and took the water taxi to Stone Island last week. I felt very safe and it was easy to do. The hardest part was navigating through all the taxis and tour guides. We had a great time at the beach.
