Any update to The Drinks Packages on Seascape this week?

Can anyone confirm what is happening this week with the messed up drinks package saga on Seascape? Specifically the Easy Plus Package. Did the allowance go up to $10 to match the new cocktail price or do you have to pay a $1 per $10 drink. Can the Easy Plus be used in Specialty or Signature Restaurants?  Bottom line, it is what it is, but just curious how it is currently being handled.

We have the premium extra package on the Seascape this week.  It is up to $15, not $16.  I talked to two different bartenders who stated that drink over the $15 limit, you pay the difference except for champagne.  If the champagne is over the limit, you pay the full price.  I assume that the easy plus would be similar.

Following as we are sailing on Meraviglia later this month. I know our confirmation indicates up to $10, but I am also aware that despite this another cruiser had issues.

While I realize the ship mentioned in the thread title is MSC Seascape, and I don't personally know the situation onboard that ship at the current time . . . I can answer what was taking place on MSC Meraviglia this past weekend.  If you had the Easy Plus package, your limit was $9 and not the new $10.  If you ordered anything over the $9 price point, you'd be charged the difference. The package was also totally acceptable in the specialty restaurants.

I hope you'll have a great time onboard the ship . . . as I certainly did. All of the bartenders were splendid at all locations, but those at Infinity and Casino had extra Moxy.  😊

Sorry to jump on, I know this is probably like asking how long is a piece of string but does anyone think MSC will sort this out.

We have the easy Plus package, the wife likes wine and Prosecco, looking at old menus I would now assume Prosecco and and all of the mid range wines by the glass are now going to cost $1, as people have previously said not a huge deal and it is what it is but just slightly annoying when you have paid for something and the goalposts are moved.

Thank you for this! I was wondering what the current situation is on the Meraviglia, as I am sailing on Sunday. I had tried posting in the roll call for the current sailing with this question and no one replied. It really is disappointing that we got the Easy Plus package with the expectation it would cover the drinks it says it does on the MSC web site only to find out that it won't. Not cool to change all the prices and not honor the packages accordingly. I know it's only a dollar a drink, but it's more the principle of the thing.

When did the drink prices go up? We leave TOMORROW on Divina and have the Easy plus bundle. I really hope they aren't going to charge me $1 for every drink I get all weekend.

The drink prices went up a couple of weeks ago. There have been reports of this issue on multiple ships.

Well that sucks, especially since I got my cruise documents just this week and says right in there "All beverages priced up to $9!"

I thought I had read that you can NOT just pay the difference for more expensive drinks. This will be interesting.....

I'm actually kind of willing to pay $1/ drink just to have a listing of all the drinks I had during the cruise!   I know Guinness Book of World Records requires proof and I'm gonna have to hit 'em HARD to make up for the bait & switch!

I always keep a drink log on my phone and post it in my liveblogs. Let's just say it's going to total up to a pretty big chunk of change I hadn't budgeted for on my 11 day sailing that starts Sunday....

Thanks for this! Great info. Our information package indicates its drinks up to $10, so I do hope they honour it. We will have a great time regardless though.
