Best way to spend ship board credit?

Some  lines  will not pass your OBC  on to the crew  especially if the OBC came  via  the cruise line

 

It is their  money  that they  & hope you will use onboard  as they get it back  & it makes you happy to get the  extra $ to spend 😄

That's distressing. 🤢 But thank you for telling us about this.  I guess giving selected crew extra tips from nonrefundable OBC is even more of a YMMV than I thought. 

 

But yes, it's totally true that cruise ships mostly forget about you when you're gone.  They've got to please their current customers, and the ones boarding next week, and the week after that... and so on.  I'm sure you've done what you can do; I only hope you get justice and satisfaction out of it. 🙏
