goldenfarm Posted April 19, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Curious what the best price is I can expect on a Celebrity cruise to Alaska for a drink package.
Ex-Airbalancer Posted April 19, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Probably 5-10% if you mostly off the ship just buy as you need it
Rare cruisestitch Posted April 19, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2023 The price of the drinks package does not change with itinerary or length of cruise.
Arizona Wildcat Posted April 19, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2023 The best price on a drink package is via a TA who has a group block of cabins. I usually pay the cruise only rate on the X website and GET AI at no extra cost. If you only drink a bit of wine bring 2 bottles on a boarding per person and just pour in your cabin. You can also bring a 12pk of sodas. Elite in Captain's Club you get few drinks 5-7.
Bo1953 Posted April 19, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Unless there is a sale, you can find the current and best discount in your CP... Otherwise you can speculate and wait for a sale to see if you can get upwards of 15% off. Cheers and bon voyage
jelayne Posted April 20, 2023 #6 Share Posted April 20, 2023 The cheapest I recall was when the Classic package was $44.99 pppd - that was back when they were 1st introduced. I have not seen a sale on drink packages since the restart and don’t expect to see one. The least expensive is to book with AI and get the beverage package, wi-fi and prepaid gratuities for the same or less than the beverage package alone. 1
NorthStarStateCruiser Posted April 20, 2023 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2023 They offered a sale on the drink package at 40% base price for select cruises sailing this February, but it was offered only a week or two before the sailings. Probably won't happen regularly tho.
tartana Posted April 20, 2023 #8 Share Posted April 20, 2023 Keep an eye on your cruise planner. I have seen as much as 20% discount in the past. You just never know. 1

kjwinston2019 Posted April 22, 2023 #10 Share Posted April 22, 2023 Drink Package means "no worrys of your final bill" drinks when you want, and never worry about a limit. Love them all or none, up to you.
