Timing for shore excursions becoming available

Normally, when are shore excursions available?  How far in advance?  Also wondering how far in advance can we book dining reservations in specialty restaurants?

We have the HIA pkg for a cruise next year & I just wanted to see what might be available.

The dining issue has been discussed here very frequently. It seems to be about 4 months prior to sailing.

 

Excursions can come at all sorts of times. Very common ports, like in the Caribbean or the Mexican Rivera can be available over a year out. Others may come much closer to sailing...sometimes only a few months prior.

Nothing is showing yet, but we are 9-10 months out.  Just like to plan ahead, thanks

I just happened to call HAL earlier this morning with the same question and was told 4 months, too.

For our May14th  cruise, I booked shore excursions in early October and dinning reservations in early January.

Look frequently. We sail September 2024 and some ports are already out. One port has shown up in the past week.
