Any recent Meet and Greets ?

Our cruise to Bermuda out of Boston is in August.  We now have about 34 people who would like to attend so I contacted NCL and got an automatic response they got my e-mail but it has been weeks I was hoping to hear by now that it is all set.   How long did you wait for a response ?   I have planned them in the past and heard back fairly quickly.

Hmmm, if it's been "a while" - then, I suggest send the designated corporate contact for your ship to request a confirmation.  As you know, they are supposed to get their own "approval" from the ship's team/group coordinator ... and, yes, usually fairly promptly.  Then, you can post & announce that to your group.  Happy cruising soon.

@JCMass. Received the same response from NCL, resent in the request similar to their format ( Please describe the program needed; including group number, group leader name, number of guests, type of function, day, time, set-up, and any required equipment ) and got the same automatic response back. Maybe I shouldn't have requested a band, a wet bar, and the captain in my last request.

If I had to guess it, I would say they've probably cut the shoreside person who monitors the emails. I received a reply back from someone saying they had forwarded it to the ship but nothing has been heard from since. The ship is also the Norwegian Pearl.

I re-sent it today, fingers crossed.  We have 34 people who have signed up to attend.

Arranged one this past Fall for the Bliss Alaska Cruise!  Just arranged one for the Mediterranean October Cruise in October.

 

NCL will acknowledge receipt of the email you send.  They’ll clear it with ship management and get back to you.  They’ll ask for a final count a few weeks before sailing.

 

If you’re within 2-3 weeks before sailing, email them again.
