Online partial payment?

I think I’m losing my mind!  I tried to make a payment online for our cruise in January. Not pay the entire balance but it doesn’t seem to work. I can enter an amount in the Other box but no payment screen comes up. Final payment isn’t due until October. It seems it would let me pay the entire balance. 
 

I know I can call my PVP and have it applied but I really think I was able to to this myself in the past. Has there been a change or is the website just being glitchy and I should try again in a few days?

 

ETA:  I tried on my iPhone as well as two different browsers on my laptop.

I just tried it on my iPad, and I hit “pay balance” and next page gives me the option of other amount, and allows me to put a number in. And then goes to the payment page. Maybe you just aren’t going far enough? Or it’s working ok now?

@kona_wahine very interesting. I just tried again on my iPhone. I would think it would be the same as the iPad. I click pay balance then on the next screen put amount in the Other Amount box and click Select. It puts a check mark on the box but doesn’t do anything else. No payment options ever come up. That’s what it did for me if I select full payment. This just does nothing. Weird. Thanks for letting me know it is working for you😀. I’m in no hurry so it’s not a problem for me, just really strange.

When I click on the final payment link it takes me to a page where three options are displayed- balance due, financing with uplift and other amount. If I put in an amount in other and click on select it then displays a payment window for that amount. This is on a laptop, if that matters.

This problem was fixed by Carnival on Thursday. 
 

I had the same problem earlier in the week. Then the system was down most of the day Thursday. You couldn’t even make payments by calling in. Around 4:30, it was back up and the partial payment was working.

I’m happy to hear it is working for so my any. It was Saturday and Sunday that it didn’t work for me. It could definitely be my phone needs to be cleared to resolve tge issue. But I also tried on my laptop and I know it isn’t a cache problem there as I never use it to go to the Carnival website. 
 

Oh well, I appreciate everyone’s responses. I will keep trying or just wait until I’m ready to make the final payment soon.

By the way, on cruises I like to play in the casino. And most of all I like the option of the PayPal payment system. I really think that paypal casino is the best option because this payment system is simple and straightforward. I tried different options, and periodically experienced the same problems as buying tickets for a cruise. Therefore, I now use only proven services.

I had this problem too but today everything worked fine. Apparently, the problem has been fixed.
