How Has the Oceania Buffet Dining Experience Changed Post Pandemic?

This will be our first cruise post pandemic and would like to anticipate

how O has made changes to assuage any health concerns.

Did you have self serve in The Terrace on your past Oceania cruises?

I can’t remember if any item was self serve. Possibly some rolls and communal bottles of condiments. It’s a hazy memory.

That’s interesting didn’t realize Oceania has been around forever.

We took our second Oceania cruise earlier this year. The previous one was 2017. Didnt feel as there was any difference in the Terrace Cafe offerings.

O buffets and the lack of self service has always been very nice (and sensible), I really haven’t noticed any changes, apart from the sticky bins, and that is a loss I can take if everything else is the same 🙂 

 

I was very sad about the sticky buns, but I live in hope they will rise phoenix like from the ashes.

Back  pre 2007 or 2008   you could  serve yourself  some items  like rolls/drinks/deserts (except ice cream)

Then Noro was prevalent   & things  changed  for the better IMO

still there are those  that  stick their  paws  into the food area  to try to serve  themselves 

 

 Now if they would only put the glass barrier all the way to the counter  🙄

I agree with previous comments.  We took our first post-Covid Oceania cruise a few months ago and everything was as good as ever including the buffet.  The only change I noticed was that they had shrimp cocktail available almost every day.  That was good for me as I really like it.🙂
