We are planning a one-way flight to Europe, followed by some DIY touring before returning on a transatlantic cruise back to the USA.  Does flightease also apply for one-way flights? or only for roundtrips?  Thanks.

My flight was one way for only one of the passengers.  A huge savings.

You can use for one way, round trip, or multi city. Be aware - if you book one way then later want to add a return leg (no matter same or different  ciry) you won't be able to do that yourself on FE. You will have to call in for FE to handle. Ugh

we paid for the one way using Flight Ease- but when I went into booking at the end we are being charged $240.60 extra (after we paid Holland immediately with notation "all taxes and fees included"- I am unable to confirm the addition of my husbands Known Traveler Number as well as frequent flyer info unless we pay online????  Do you have any information on this or anyone who has secured the flight then some additional charges show up on website? This is Jet Blues website..we had no additional charges when we booked seats from BOS to REY- on Icelandair but only on flight from CLE to BOS on Jet Blue!!!!

You must have hit a wrong button. You certainly are allowed to add TSA and change seats without incurring a fee.  If the flight is paid for you can also do that at the airline website

Thank you - but I wasn't changing seats! Just adding them for the first time! There was no extra charges incurred on anything during process but at the end! I think maybe it was because we have the one flight from Cleveland to Boston then the second flight which I did the exact same way on Iceland air- no taxes. And yes, I was on both their websites which is even stranger since our reservations popped up! I just wondered how we would end up paying more when thankfully we decided to pay when we first made our initial deposit- and added the ships premium travel insurance- Our agent told us if we booked the air first it would not be covered- something I never thought about - so we bought insurance first and after we went online and picked the best flight for us-   I do appreciate feedback and sharing! Thanks again- will be calling Flight Ease (if they are available weekends) and see what they can do - or our agent might be able to step in!

. . ., on those two occasions, much better deals (on different airlines) showed-up on the Flexair online booking engine, and we simply cancelled the previously booked flights and immediately replaced them with the lower cost replacements.

I just did a Google search and came up empty on "Flexair" and "Flexair online booking engine." What is this?

We are talking about the flex air options found on HALs air booking engine.  You can access that through your online account but must have a booked cruise.  When you pull up the air options there is a column with flex deals and another where you are locked in once booked

follow up on my question/post- I called Iceland Air - they were able to verify there is NO extra taxes  after we made payment for the booking with Holland- what they supposed may have occurred during the process I had to add a different email address for my husband (contact?) at any rate, this may have caused the system to think the booking was going to be changed to his name/email??? I called Holland first- and they were great and reassuring but also thought I may have upgraded- So, the sytem does work. once flexible fare is paid for there are no issues- lesson learned - I think had I hit the button to pay for the taxes then there would have been 2 flights!!!! WHEW!  Glad to let everyone know things are ok and appreciate all the support and communications regarding my concerns!!!!

we are on 10 day cruise- hopefully this is roll call- at any rate, am I reading correctly and all Holland excursions are sold out???? I like to preplan but we booked 11 mos ahead - after disembarking and looking at various options (not only on Holland)- basically we are now going to do private tours???  any suggestions- I love sightseeing and walking is not issue- my husband is not too keen on walks nor all day excursions- If you have time suggestions would be great (also cost conscious!) In other words- towards the frugal side!!! (not me!)

You have posted on the wrong thread.  The roll calls are in the HAL Roll Call Forum.
